Ad hoc interpreting

I translate without the use of technical equipment from and into both languages. This kind of interpreting technique is appropriate for business meetings, interviews, etc., where information has to be passed between the parties and the segments of speech generally consist of not more than a few sentences.

Chuchotage (whisper interpreting)

I interpret without the use of technical equipment into the target language, whispering the translation into the ears of one or two delegates. This kind of interpreting technique is appropriate for conferences, factory tours, etc., when the number of foreign people does not justify the hiring of a simultaneous interpreting system.

Consecutive interpreting

I interpret, using notes taken before, into the target language. This kind of interpreting technique is appropriate for conferences, official meetings, etc., where the segments of speech are longer. Generally the speaker pauses several times during his speech so that the interpreter can deliver the last passage in the target language.

Availability

My services are available in the Italian region of Basilicata and the neighbouring areas. Moreover I accept engagements of at least two working days in the whole of Italy and Europe.

Rates

My daily rate (seven working hours) is of 350 Euros, the hourly rate of 55 Euros. The minimum engagement is of three hours. Expenses for travel, accommodation and board are chargeable to the customer.

Payment

Payment has to be made by bank transfer within 15 days from my performance. Otherwise you may pay cash or by cheque at the end of the performance.
