before offering my translation and interpreting services to you I would like to shortly introduce myself. I was born in Minden (Germany), a small town in Eastern Westphalia, where I grew up and received my elementary and secondary education. After passing the school-leaving examinations in 1987, I went to live in Italy. I attended University in Rome, then I lived and worked near Siena (Tuscany). Presently I reside in Matera in the south Italian region of Basilicata. I graduated with a first-class degree in translation and interpreting at the Institute of Linguistic Mediation (Scuola Superiore per Mediatori Linguistici) "Gregorio VII" in Rome. For about ten years I worked in the international marketing department of a well-known winery in the Chianti Classico district. Since 2007 I am a freelancer registered with the Chamber of Commerce of Matera and listed in the register of interpreters specialised in tourism of the Region of Basilicata.
